We have visited a lot of historical ships! I’m sure there will be many more as the trip continues. Below are the ships we have visited so far with a little information about each one.
Patriots Point – Mount Pleasant, SC

Overall Patriots Point is absolutely a five star. There are three different ships to explore for one low price. They also have a Vietnam War exhibit which should not be missed. We spent the entire day there and had to rush through at the end because they were closing up shop!

USS Yorktown (CV/CVA/CVS-10) – [usr 5]
The Yorktown is an Essex-class aircraft carrier built during WWII for the US Navy.
USS Laffey (DD-724) – [usr 5]
The Laffey was an Allen M. Sumner-class destroyer of WWII.
USS Clamagore (SS-343) – [usr 3]
The Clamagore is a Balao-class submarine built in 1945 for the US Navy.
Battleship Memorial Park – Mobile, AL
Meandering Life Rating: [usr 5] (Well maintained and loved the tanks displayed in the park)

USS Alabama (BB-60)– [usr 5]
The Alabama is a South Dakota-class battleship using during WWII
USS Drum (SS-228)– [usr 5]
The Drum is a Gato-class submarine used during WWII
USS Kidd (DD-661) – Baton Rouge, LA
