This is a boondocking site that was very easy to find. Turn on Sheep Bridge Road from Hwy 9. We stayed the last week of March 2018 and were able to find a spot, but there were several other campers there. There are probably around 10-15 areas that would qualify as a “spot”. Nothing is marked so you just find an area that is relatively level and park. I think just about any size rig would work at least for a few spots as long as you can get down the road. Nobody was too close to each other, so it was peaceful. At least it was peaceful regarding people. The wind, however, was unrelenting. We were never able to use the awning or grill because of the wind. It was brutal. We only sat outside once in the evening because of the wind as well. Hard to enjoy yourself. The site we chose is farther down the road, past a small hump, at a bend. Maybe about a half mile from the turn. There were only 1-2 usable sites past that spot. The road was doable if you drove slowly but was bumpy. There had been some rain the day before and it was a bit worse because of that. After everything dried up the road was much better. We walked down to scout out the area which I would recommend and there was a nice pull off area right by the road entrance for us to do that. The sites are fairly level so didn’t have any problems with that. Short (20 min) drive to Zion and the Maverik right down the road has potable water and a dump station that are free! The potable water is right next to the dump station. It can’t get much easier than that. There is also a grocery store across the street from Maverik and many other businesses in neighboring Hurricane. Internet was great too. We had 4-5 bars of 4G LTE for AT&T. The scenery is amazing!! So pretty. It would be five stars if the wind wasn’t so brutal. Not sure if it is that time of year or if it is like that all the time. Views from our campsite:
